How to Install Aftermarket Projector Headlights on a 2005-2009 Scion tC
Today's post will focus on a vehicle specific installation: aftermarket headlights for the 2005 - 2009 Scion tC. The video here shows how to install Spec-D Tuning's projector headlights but the process will be the same for any OEM replacement headlights on the market. So, without further ado, let us begin.
1. Open the hood.
3. Remove two clips.
4. Locate third clip above Scion emblem.
5. Remove Third Clip.
6. Locate seven bolts underneath the bumper.
7. Remove seven bolts from underneath the bumper.
8. Remove two bolts from underneath the wheel well.
9. Remove two bolts above headlights.
10. Remove bolt connecting the bumper and fender.
11. Use flat tip screwdriver to lift out headlight.
12. Remove all connectors and harnesses.
13. Connect harnesses and connectors to new light.
14. Follow Steps 1 through 11 in reverse order.
15. Installation complete.
16. Check all connections and light functions prior to driving
Once you have followed these instructions you will have successfully installed your 2005-2009 Scion tC aftermarket headlight.
